I'm a newlywed who is looking to spend a nice, intimate and romantic weekend away with my husband for Valentine's Day. On the 19th, it will be our 6 month anniversary and I would like to make it a special one. Can anyone recommend or know of a place that we should go to? Preferably inexpensive, but worth the money. I'd appreciate the help!

Could you be a tad more specific...New England's fairly large...which state were you thinking of??

Try the Red Lion Inn in the Berkshires. Can't think of the town it's in, however.

I agree, you have to be more specific. There's a big difference between the Berkshires and Newport and alot farther North.

I highly recommend the Greenfield Inn in Greenfield, NH. They offer packages, too. But, it's a little late to be planning for Valentine's Day...
