Recommendations for casual restaurant in Annapolis

Hi, We'll just be staying one night at the Loews in Annapolis. Can anyone recommend a nearby restaurant suitable for kids? Thanks.

I second the request... I traveling there in a couple of weeks.
I would like to know if there is a 4 or 5 star New American or Asian fusion restaurant in Annapolis.

Yes, Asian would be nice, or Thai, my kids actually love both cuisines, but any good recs. of any kind are welcome!

There is a Thai restaurant on west Street (where Loew's hotel is) approximately 2-3 blocks away. There are many good restaurants in Annapolis but most of them specialize in seafood, Italian, Irish, Chinese and French.

I would have no trouble recommending Riordan's, OBrien's, Carroll's Creek for seafood, Lewens for steaks, Chart House, Galway Bay for great Irish food. Perhaps since you're in a seaport on the Chesapeake you might give a try to our tasty food.

That's right, I forgot about Maryland crab. Anyplace for good crabcakes with a kids menu?

Chart House is an overpriced for dinner. Nice view for cocktails though. Kid-friendly, yet decent food would be Buddy Crabs and Ribs for average fare. Located at the bottom of Main Street. Try and snag a waterside table at Pusser's Landing in the Marriot hotel. (Right at the Annapolis Harbor) Or for a good meal with people watching try Middleton's Tavern.
