Recent Maui weather
While I was in Maui the last two weeks in May 2003 there was not a trace of rain the whole time. I have been following Maui weather on the internet since that time and there has not been a single rainy day. Is this unusual? When did it last rain on Maui ?

I suspect the answer to your question varies depending upon the location on Maui. Here are some links:

I was in Kaanapali in the mid two weeks of May and not a drop either. Actually had one night where there were no trade winds either. The odd mosquito was present too but for some reason they were not biting, me at least.

You need to look up the specific area. It varies throughout the entire island. I was there 3 weeks ago in Kaanapali and on June 11 it rained and was windy almost the entire day. So your information is not correct.

Hi,
We were at the Grand Wailea from 8-15 Jun and the mornings were all gorgeous, but then the clouds came in around 11am and the winds pick up (?tradewinds I guess). Trying to sail a resort sailboat was a piece of cake early in the morning, but it became almost impossible (for us anyway) as the day went on. One day there were heavy clouds all day, while most days the clouds were in and out through the early afternoon and cleared by 2-3pm. No rain in Wailea though during our stay.
