Reasonble NYC hotel w/parking ???
Help
|
Help us, first:
WHEN? It makes a difference. What's "reasonable" to you. How many people, beds? |
When you say w/ parking, so you mean free? Many hotels have some form of 'parking', but in many cases it's the valet taking it to a garage (which you can do near a hotel cost s around $40/day. Some neighborhoods are a little cheaper, outdoor lots tend to be less, and the best value is usually in slightly off the beaten path places.
AS far as a reasonable hotel, as other already asked, what do you ocnsider reasonable? How many in the room? ANy particular neighborhood or area? |
One more thing to add, if the room is for 1 or 2, Priceline is probably where you'd get the best deal. See biddingfortravel.com for information on priceline bidding.

OK---
2 Persons(1 Bed) Mid-late October Let's start with best bang for the buck on location/parking/hotel under $150(if that's possible) Thanks in advance |
Priceline will be the only way for it to be possible under $150. Also good luck finding a one bedded room. NYC is notorius for many rooms only having 2 double beds. As for free parking I'm not sure many hotels have that in NY. You might have better luck with that checking across the river in Jersey or around the airports.
Look into the Comfort Inn and the Red Roof Inn which usually have deals for under $150. Also try Quikbook.com |
Actually Priceline has a special warning for NYC bidders, advising them that since so many NYC hotel rooms have only one bed, they must not bid for just one room if they have more than 2 people.

Priceline is likely your only option and that's still assuming that Parking is going to be $40 a day.
The Sheratons and Westin Times Square were offering packages this summer that included parking, but they were not $150. More like $200+ Do you need the car? |
I think priceline is definitely the way to go. AFter you are awarded an hotel, post a thread on this board for best parking deal near the hotel.
