Looking for lodging for senior and spouse in St. Augustine area.

When?

How much is "reasonable"?

Where? Historic area? Beach area? Or just anywhere within a __ mile radius of the historic area?

You can get a campsite at Anastasia State Park and set up your tent for only $27.50 per night. How reasonable do you want?

We have not stayed here yet, but it was recommended. We plan on staying in March 09.

This is old but other people may read it. Lodging depends on how long you are staying and whether you prefer right downtown in the historic district or on the beach. If you like the historic district then the bed and breakfast inns are your best bet. But, downtown parking can be a problem. If you stay on the beach you are within 5 minutes of the Lighthouse or Alligator Farm and 10 minutes of the historic district. I always stay at St. Augustine Ocean and Racquet. http://www.oceanandracquet.com they are very friendly and always had a good deal for me.
