anyone been to rawhide in Scottsdale..in particular the outdoor barbeque? Impressions?

I haven't but my neighbors that I planned their AZ vacation for did. Their kids were 6 and 8 at the time last summer and they loved it. They still talk about it as being their best vacation ever LOL. I think they liked the food and the show they saw.
My other friends brother played tic tac toe and lost to the Chicken.
They sounded like they enjoyed it more then I liked the ghost town thing we went to.

followup. Loved rawhide. thought it might be a bit cheesy...and it was...but my kids LOVED it! wish I had spent more time. did the barbeque in the desert. what a hoot. I highly recommend this.

I am also wondering how Rawhide would be for teens (12, 15). I would like them to see a rodeo which I heard they have there, albeit a small version. I'm wondering if we should do the night BBQ in the desert? Not sure if they have it during the week or not. Will have to check their website.

FYI - Spoke to the people at Rawhide today and there is no rodeo for the time being. Just had one in February and maybe one in the summer they said. A bit disappointed about that. They didn't seem to think there were any other rodeo's in the area either. We may substitute OUt of Africa instead. Leaving on Monday :)
