Raleigh to Myrtle Beach - 2 days open B4 week in Myrtle Beach

Hi
Suggestions for two days between Raleigh and Myrtle Beach. Two adults in their early 50's. Can stay in Raleigh or any where that's en route to Myrtle Beach. Any interesting towns or not-to-miss sites? Restaurants? Thanks. =P~

Wilmington is a gorgeous little town on the way but why not drive south on I-95 and head to Charleston for a couple of days?

Monet in Normandy is the exhibition at the Raleigh Art Museum and well worth a visit.
Fantastic!

After you arrive at the airport, head on over to the musuem. The exhibit of Money is wonderful. I think you could do that exhibit in 1 1/2 hours. There is a cafe in the museum if you want to have lunch there.

It's only a couple of hours to Wilmington from Raleigh and about 4 to Charleston, SC. Both are good suggestions. Enjoy your visit.

I'd go to Wilmington in a red hot minute. Very much worth a two day stop. Beautiful town, great beaches and restaurants and full of history.

It's a B&B paradise, or the Riverfront Hilton (where we stayed) is a good bet.
