Rain predicted every day for Siesta Key area?

Good morning. We will be in Siesta Key next week and the weather forecast shows rain every day! Argh!!
Is this one of those "it rains for an hour and then it's over with" deals or are we going to spend our vacation inside? HELP!! I'm getting really worried.

Its the rain every day for an hour. ITs typical for this time of year in FL.

Yup, it's your typical Fla. summer forecast.

And it may not actually rain --it may just cloud up, thunder, and blow over. Don't worry, your vacation won't be ruined!

I'm hoping the weather people are wrong for you, but one nice place to visit (especially on Monday when the art museum is free) is the Ringling Estate!

Typical day in Florida has the same forecast for about 5 mos. of the year:

High of 92-94 Low of 74-76 40-60% chance of thunderstorms/ rain.

This rain is welcoming. You typically can have a day at the beach and come in about 3 p.m. to start early happy hour or read before dinner while it rains.

This cools us off so the mornings are tolerable. Humidity drops after a storm. HG

We have an expression in Central FL. If you don't like the weather, wait a half hour.
