Rafting Snake River early June?

Has anyone done a rafting (not float) trip in early June on the Snake? Can't decide whether to book this because because of the cold weather that will likely be in place. I know we can wear wetsuits, but don't know how warm they are. Anyone?

The sun is the number one thing that will impact whether or not you are cold, and that is hard to predict. If you went yesterday morning, the sun was out and it would have been perfect. This morning was overcast and it would have felt chilly. But that is true at any point in the summer. The water itself will be really cold no matter what. The wetsuits generally work pretty well particularly since you will probably just get splashed. You are unlikely to wind up in the water and if you do, most of the larger rapids are towards the end of the trip, so you won't be soaked for long. But rafting isn't for whiners! If the risk of being cold isn't worth it, I would not recommend it. But obviously these companies run trips all of the time and have happy customers. It really is the luck of the draw on the weather.
