Radisson Kauai Beach Resort?

We have reservations here October 31 for 4 nights. I have read terrible reports on Trip Advisor regarding dirty rooms, dirty sheets and on and on. Has anybody stayed here recently? We leave next Monday for Hawaii and do not want to get to Lihue and find a terrible hotel. Any suggestions?
Thanks~

We spent 4 nights there in early September and it was very nice. Definitely not the Princeville, but clean, comfortable, lovely grounds, beautiful walking beach. All in all, it was a positive experience. My husband thought the sheets were a bit scratchy but he's become a spoiled brat with thousand count sheets at home.

The Radisson is one our best hotels -- nice restaurant, too. The only complaint I've heard is from tourists who have problems departing the hotel and turning left onto the highway...traffic is busy early a.m. and late afternoon.

We stayed at the Radisson last spring for a week (Priceline rate of $120/night). IMHO, it's a solid 3* property that was VERY clean, nice grounds, nice pools, etc. My only complaint is that there is no beachside lounge chairs or drink service, so it's not a true "resort". If I had it to do over again, I'd stay at the Marriott or Sheraton for just a little bit more $$$. Read my full review at biddingfortravel.com.

The Radisson is on the east "windward" side with no true beach. All the good beaches are on the other side of the island. Plan accordingly.
