R.I.P. Senator Inouye
 
Senator Daniel Inouye D-Hawaii died to today.

A WWII hero and later a great Senator from Hawaii.

I'm proud to say I voted for him a couple of times while I lived in Hawaii.

I have relatives who live in Hawaii. They always spoke favorably of the Senator.

He was remembered on the evening news here in Boston.

He was part of the famous 442nd - the Go For Broke Brigade - who had some of the hardest fightingin Europe - proving as Japanese Americans - they were very loyal to the US.

And I had forgotten he was awarded the Medal of Honor:
