Quiet room

Looking for a quiet, clean, well maintained Hotel in San Francisco during July close to tourist attractions. Price range under $200.

Sandy: Check out Quikbook.com, they are offering the Westin St. Francis for $156, and the Sir Francis Drake for $139. Both are good hotels in the Union Square area.

Also, ask to have a room that does not overlook the busy street. I stayed in a great boutique Hotel there and listened to the drunks talk/fight all night in the front of the hotel, and the workers at 6am.
Just ask they will accomodate you.

I really enjoyed the Hotel Triton. It's probably about 3 stars, as far as ratings go. But is definitely clean and well maintained (I'm neurotic about that) and was in a very good location. I'm quite sure it was under $200 per night. They have a website, I just don't know the address, but you should check it out!

I agree that Hotel Triton is a nice, clean hotel. And, yes, good location. My room wasn't ready when I got there, and to "apologize" (I didn't even complain!) they sent up a nice bottle of red to make amends.

Very artsy, very funky, very much fun. My friends in SF insisted on meeting me there just so they could see the hotel for themselves!

http://www.hoteltriton.com/

Have fun in one of my favorite US cities!
