Quiet Restaurant in Minneapolis for a celebratory dinner with a deaf guest

My group of six will be celebrating my son's college graduation in Minneapolis on a Saturday evening in June. My sister is deaf and hears through cochlear implants. They are unable to to filter background noise and she is about as able to enjoy a conversation in a busy restaurant as I could on a helicopter landing pad. It makes no sense to reserve a private room for only six people. I'm looking for a restaurant that has small rooms or quiet nooks or even is just off the beaten path. If you know of such a place, please tell me about it. Apart from a quiet table the only other requirement is that the restaurant be on the fancy side; it is a celebration for my son, after all.

Thanks, Barbara

112 Eatery, Heydey, St.Genevieve and Corner Table all come to mind. I think they are relatively quiet. You might be able to find a quiet area of Fogo de Chao since the remodel. Travail and bar la grassa will be too loud. Cafe Lurcat might be a good option. I haven't been to Butcher and the Boar or Bachelor Farmer in a while so maybe someone else can chime in on those options.

In June you have the possibility of eating outside. I am not sure if that helps or hurts your criteria but keep that in mind.

Since this is for June I also second a rooftop location. The tables are so close together at all of the restaurants that your best bet is rooftop,IMHO.

Or I liked 112 Eatery for quality of food and relatively quiet.

If you are willing to drive a little and make reservations months in advance try Bellecour for patio seating.
