Quiet Beach/Cove in the Keys?

I know that the Florida Keys aren't known as a beach destination, but I'm going to be there in February and I'm hoping to find a secluded cove or small beach on one of the Keys. I'm shooting a film (for a school project) that's supposed to take place on a beach or cove on a "deserted island." Any tips? I'm willing to hop in a kayak to get there...! Thanks for your help.

Little Palm Island
Sunset Key

Your problem is that February is peak season and there are so few beaches in the keys.

You may have some luck at Bahia Honda.

Ah, fantastic. I'll be staying on Little Torch Key, which is right there. Thank you.

Sounds like fun! I think as you drive down and around the Keys, you will find many spots to meet your needs. Bahia Honda Park could work. Fort Zack in Key West could also work. The Chamber of Commerce actually has a film liason because of how many films are filmed in the Keys. Maybe you could contact them for more help.

A lot of fashion photographers use the beach at the Moorings in Islamorada as a backdrop for their shoots. It is pretty, and quiet, there. pretty trees.
