Quick question cheap hotel on strip with no children?

Just wanting advice on a cheap hotel on the strip that will be low on children in October any advice? A group of friends are meeting there and just after basic accommodation.
Take a look at the San Remo, which has a great location across from the MGM Grand and adjacent to the Tropicana (another possible choice). San Remo doesn't really cater to kids and the rates are quite reasonable. You can "eyeball" their relative rates and get info at their website:

http://www.sanremolasvegas.com/

I've sometimes been able to get a better rate than they post, but if you see the rates for the period you are checking out seem a little on the high side, then you should remember that it probably means there is something going on in town at that time. Happy Trails! :o)
Imperial Palace and Barbary Coast(no pool) are two inexpensive hotels on the strip...good loaction...check out travelocity.com---cheapovegas.com---vegasinsider.com---ilovevegas.com---and check prices...also check hotel websites...got some good prices by joining some hotel sites..almost half price per day at Flamingo Hilton...if something special is going on you could have a hard time getting a room and a good price...call some places and ask for specials...AAA..AARP...manager specials or any cheap rates they can offer you..some say LA Times has good in the paper so check it online...

We've stayed at many hotels in Vegas, but find the Sahara great for those renting a car, easy access to major roads and inexpensive, few children. good luck...

We've stayed at Imperial Palace several times. Why? Center strip location. Cheap. Easy to get around inside (not too big). And now that you mention it, I remember far fewer kids there than other strip hotels.

Keep in mind that October is the number one month for conventions in Las Vegas. Room rates sky rocket that month. Plan well ahead of time.
