Quick Cleveland help needed

I've come across -- unexpectedly -- about 4 hours of free time during my business trip and need to get some shopping done. I'm staying downtown by the convention center. Where is the closest, higher-end mall? I guess I'll be taking a cab. Time/cab fare estimates appreciated. Thanks!

Tower City is right downtown. It is a small shopping mall and the Galleria is also close by. All the malls are in the suburbs. SouthPark in Strongsville is quite nice, but a bit of a cab ride.

Beachwood, on the east side of clvd, is home to a wonderful upscale mall and many great restaurants. Its approximately 10-20 minutes east of downtown, depending on traffic and the time of day, etc. I personally prefer Southpark Mall in Strongsville, but its about 1/2 hour south of the city.

How about a trip to the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame?

Enjoy your stay!

Thanks for the input. Yes! I've been to the RRHOF and other attractions, what I need now is an upscale, large scale mall, as I have some gifts to buy. Something with Nordstrom's, Nieman's, Saks...you get the idea. The front desk told me the nearby Galleria was small with no department store.

So what do you think? Beechwood or Southpark?

Beachwood is the place to go. There's Nordstroms, Saks, as well as many other great stores! The Galleria is a ghost town! Have fun shopping!
