Questions on Ft Lauderdale.....
 

1. Is there transportation from the airport into Ft L other than Super Shuttle or a cab?

2. Which is the best way to see the Everglades....tour or driving (rental car)? There will be two of us...neither is keen on driving.

Not sure about the answer to your first question since I flew into Miami and rented a car.

As far as the Everglades are concerned, i took an airboat tour at the Everglades Holiday Park and thought it was great. I highly recommend it.

Oh, by the way, you should rent a car to get to the Everglades Park.

I am a little confused....called the hotel in Lauderdale and they have a tour pickup for the Everglades for about $40. But it sounds like the airboat is something different....that we need to drive to the pickup? Are there two choices for a tour.....bus or airboat?

There are many choices for tours! I have a Florida booklet that they have everywhere down there and many companies have a tour. Have fun.
