Question Re: Pantages Theater in Hollywood

I too would like to get tickets to see The Producers (at the Pantages) while we're in So. California next year. I have a couple of questions for anyone familiar with this theater. I've looked at 2 different seating charts on line and one shows the first row of orchestra as AA (followed by BB, CC, DD etc.) making row A about the 6th row or so. Another seating chart shows row A as the first row of Orchestra....anyone know which is correct? Also, can someone tell me how far the orchestra pit extends out before the first row (how far away from the stage is the first row)? Thanks very much. Clare

Yikes...no one has been to the Pantages. I called ticketmaster and the telephone assistants were out of state and didn't even know the answers...I really need some help (or a phone number to Pantages that isn't automated, tried that already too). Thanks!

Clare, you can view the seating chart for The Producers at ticketmaster.com. Enter Pantages (as a venue); select the Pantages in Los Angeles; at the drop-down menu for seating charts, you may select The Lion King, The Producers, or "generic." All start with Row A. Have a great time at the Producers.

Clare, can't speak from experience as it's been awhile but I believe Woody is correct. The seating charts that show AA,BB,CC etc. are older charts before the remodel....I guess some websites just haven't updated their seating charts. Also, I'm guessing that the orchestra pit is about 20 feet from the stage (?). Sandi

There is a seating chart on stubhub.com and it shows the front row as AA (followed by BB,CC etc.) Hmmmmmm....
