Question for Vegas Fans - The Tropicana Site, Curious What Should Go There
Just read that the company that owns Tropicana is giving strong signals they are demolishing the property and rebuilding in late 2004. After walking through the casino recently, I can certainly understand why. Small, cramped, and underwhelming versus the other properties on that corner. (Any casino that has a beat the chicken at tic-tac-toe definately needs a makeover.)
I'm thinking the perfect new theme hotel would be called something like "Vegas World." The architecture would rip-off the best features of the other hotels and would be a small scale replica of the Vegas Strip. Considering that everyone else plagarized their design from a real location, I'm thinking they can't argue copyright infringement!
Just curious what others think.

I think there should be a Celine Dion themed hotel.
There be music screeching at high volumes everywhere, a high strung atmosphere, tacky decorations, and everywhere there would be signs proclaiming, "Welcome to the Celine Hotel and Casino--it is sad that there can only be one world's best hotel and this is it. Don't you just love it here? Don't you wish you could own this hotel like me? I feel sorry for you that you aren't me. Oh well, spend some money here then go back to your little life and open up some space for someone else. Bye!"
