Question for someone who's been to the "Van Gogh & Expressionism" exhibit
Are any versions of van Gogh's Sunflowers in the NY showing of this exhibition (at the Neue Galerie)? I just ordered the catalogue, and the London Sunflowers is a plate in the book--but the book does not include a checklist of what's actually in the show. The Van Gogh Museum included their Sunflowers in the Amsterdam showing--is THAT in the New York show?
A strange but important (for me) question. Thank you!

It's funny. I originally typed no and DH agreed. But then I looked online and found this http://painting.about.com/od/famousp...Sunflowers.htm
so now we're thinking it was there. But DH says it was a lot paler in person.

I thought there was one of Van Gogh’s sunflowers at the exhibit. There were many Van Gogh’s from private collections, which was a treat! The museum is an amazing architectural structure. The café is a lovely place to eat (a little pricey) with a great view.
