QUESTION FOR LOYAL SOUTHWEST AIRLINE FLYERS
Hi:
I am trying to find a cheap flight from Orlando to New York (L.I.) on a Sunday in mid November. I have noticed from my research that Southwest normally flys nine flights on Sundays from Orlando to New York. As of this date, only seven flights are listed in the reservation page. Has anybody out there got a clue as to when they might post those last two flights? I'm sure this can only be answered by you hard core Southwest loyalists, but I know you're out there somewhere! Thanks for any help. |
Did you check the schedule for Sundays for that route for dates AFTER you plan to travel? I once noticed a situation like the one you are describing and when I called the reservation # and inquired they told me they were changing the schedule and it just happened to be effective the weekend I was going to travel.

Checking WN's online schedule, it's the same for 11/5, 11/12, & 11/19. They have 5 non-stops, one BWI connection, and one same-plane two-stops flight (via RDU and BWI).
On 11/26, most likely because of being Thanksgiving, another BWI connection is possible. That's it. No idea why you think they have 9 flights MCO-ISP. |
I think they have nine flights on Sundays from MCO to LI because I've been watching the Oct sunday flights and that's the way it's been going. They start with 6 or 7 flights and as the date gets closer, they add the last couple of flights for a total of nine. I was hoping to get the timing right, so that I might take advantage of the great rates and also want to fly into Islip. Thanks anyway.

If it's not listed now for November, it won't be. Airline schedules don't fluctuate like that!
