Question About Wynn Hotel Las Vegas
My wife and I are planning a 3 night trip to Vegas in May. We didn't want to spend a lot of money on this trip. We have been to Vegas about three times. The last time we stayed at the Palazzo and the time before that at the Venetian. What we liked about these hotels is that there was variety, especially at the Venetian of inexpensive and expensive restaurants. We wanted to try some place new on this trip and we were fortunate to get a great deal at the Wynn. Roundtrip Air for 2 plus 3 nights for a total of $515.00 for both of us.
My question is, are most of the restaurants at the Wynn pretty "high end" Will we have to eat at a different hotel to find some decent "mid price range food"? |
Most, if not all, of the restaurants at the Wynn/Encore are pretty to very spendy. They do have early bird specials at most of the restaurants, though. They are called Taste of Wynn http://www.wynnlasvegas.com/#dining/taste_of_wynn/

we always stay at the Wynn and have had great meals for very little money.
Daniel Boulud's Brasserie is one of the best and they have a prix fixe dinner for $40 per person and great water show. he is considered one of the top chefs in the world. Okada for sushi..we have had great sushi and sashimi rolls with drinks for under $75 for two. Zooza (sp) crackers the Jewish deli has excellent sandwiches for under $10 and they are huge. Country Club is another favorite and reasonable and excellent. Room Service and order off the kids menu is one of our best deals we get..2 huge cheeseburgers with fries, sundae with delivery and tip is under $20. we love the Wynn so much and you can eat very well for very little money. We do venture off to Bouchon at the Venetian for breakfast, Lotus of Siam off the strip for some of the best Thai in the US and of course an In and Out burger. |
There are many, many, restaurants at Wynn, some more economical than others.
But, you can also quickly venture over to Palazzo/Venetian or the mall across the street for all sorts of other options. The room service menu at Wynn is amazingly affordable. |
Thanks for the information, I appreciate it.

"Roundtrip Air for 2 plus 3 nights for a total of $515.00 for both of us."
I thought you were confused; $515 per person, not for BOTH. Rate is $257.50/person w/air at The Wynn? WOW! I just checked. I got a quote of $450 for 2 people at Encore from NYC. Either Vegas has gone really downhill recently, or it's a basement room with no windows. |
there are no bad rooms at Encore or the Wynn..we are talking 5* at its finest.
From NYC to Vegas for $450 air and 3 nights..HUGE deal! Vegas is really hurting.. Ask for a free upgrade and sign up for the e-mail specials on the website. Get a Red club card too.food rivals NYC! www.wynnlasvegas.com |
It's not that Vegas has gone downhill, it's the economy that's gone downhill. The hotels are hurting, and they are literally giving out rooms for free, just to get people into the casinos. It's never been a better time to stay in one of the deluxe strip hotels at a bargain price, particularly on a weekday.

Did you book your airfare and hotel reservation in a package to get that price?
|
We dined at Red (chinese at the Wynn) following the Garth Brooks show and found it both, delicious and affordable.
|
Yes I couldn't believe what a great price we received for the airfare and 3 nights at the Wynn. I first I thought it was a mistake. We are flying from San Francisco. We booked the package through Orbitz leaving on Wednesday, May 19th and returning on Saturday, May 22nd. The fact that we are not staying over on a Saturday night probably helps to keep the cost down. We also used an Orbitz promo code 50entertain, which gave us 50.00 off. Without the coupon the price would have been 565.

Flying to Vegas from SF for that price is mucho $$$ IMHO. If I got a $450 quote for 2 from NYC, I am sure you could do better. http://www.usairwaysvacations.com/bookingEngine/ |
