here is some clarification, we are not hikers, we can hike 1 -1.5 mi round-trip. But we can do it for reach some nice points or watch something interesting during the hike. We are preferring watch lakes, rivers, some pretty mountain. But hiking itself does not attract us. Now another question. From your comments, spending on Rainer 1.5 days vs. 2.5 days, what different could be done? What would we regret later if do not see it.

Just how important is Hells Canyon to your entire vacation?

While it is an intriguing place, Hells Canyon is so relatively inaccessible that it probably isn't the best choice for just anyone.

Even when you do see what you came to see, you're still extremely remote to most anything else.

You mention the "Hells Canyon Overlook", and even its website mentions: "The Snake River is not visible from this site".

Unless you reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeally want to go there... and perhaps invest the time and money to avail yourself of a close encounter of some sort... you might do well to omit that considerable effort and put the time toward something that might flow better with the rest of your journey.

I agree. Skip Hells Canyon. The two river canyons in Oregon that are just as impressive IMO are the Deschutes River Canyon and the John Day River canyon. You should also consider a visit to the John Day Fossil Beds Painted Hills Unit.
Instead of Wenatchee, try for a night in Leavenworth. Leavenworth looks like it belongs in the Alps.
