Question about heating pool

Hey, there. Looking at vacation properties in the Orlando area for Memorial Day week. The one I'm most interested in requires an additional fee for heating the pool. How warm is the weather that time of year? On average, how cool would a 4/5-foot deep pool be?

Air temps are pleasantly warm that time of year, mid 80s usually, but this has been an unusual winter and spring, colder and wetter than normal. Is this going to continue? Probably not. The pool temp will vary tremendously depending on the amount of daily sun it gets. Whatever, I doubt you will need to heat the pool then. I can generally swim in the Gulf in April and am a real wimp when it comes to cold water.

For contest, the Gulf in which OO swims in April is warmer in January ( still with me?) than the Atlantic beaches on Cape Cod in late July.

I wouldn't worry about heating the pool then .

Our pool is unheated, and we're always in by the end of May. That said, it has a southern exposure and gets plenty of sun to heat it all day. As OO notes, that can make a big difference.

Thanks, y'all! The weather was quite warm which made the pool very comfortable. We had a wonderful stay!
