Question about day trip to Santa Barbara and Slovang from LA and fires!
I have a about day trip to Santa Barbara and Slovang from LA and fires. I have seen this is a common day trip, but I am concerned about the fires,smoke, etc. I’ve been to Santa Barbara before and have heard great things about Slovang. At this time will the drive be ok? Will the smoke still be bad? I’m traveling with my wife and 3 kids. We were looking foreword to seeing decorations in the Slovang and the Mission Santa Barbara.

There is a mission closer to Solvang at Santa Ynez.

If you go on a Sunday, there is usually an arts and crafts show along the waterfront which you might like. The Mission is lovely.
