Queen's Surf in Aston Waikiki?
 

Has anyone stayed in these rooms? They are a group of rooms in the Aston Waikiki but run separately and decorated nicely with down comforters, etc. Any info on the Queen's Surf or the Aston Waikiki would be appreciated. We're going with our kids so I'd like to hear what the pool area is like and how far to walk to the beach? Thanks!

Specifically, it is in the Aston Waikiki Grand Hotel on the Diamond Head side of Waikiki. So many Aston hotels!

The Queen Surf rooms do look lovely on the website. But the pool area is small and spartan, no greenery, just pool, cement and chairs. Proximity to the beach is good, however, about 4 buildings away. If a nice pool is important to you I'd stay elsewhere.
