Qucik Response Needed: Lake Tahoe in the Rain

Taking my 85 year old mom (visiting from Florida) to Lake Tahoe today (driving from the Bay Area). There is a 70% chance of thunder storms tomorrow with rain again on Tuesday. All of my planned activities were outdoors with the exception of very little gambling (few coins in the slots).

Any suggestions to fill in two days? Leaving shortly and can do some Internet research when we arrive but would appreciate some suggestions.

Where are you staying? Other than the Miss Dixie (you could stay inside the cabins) . . . Movies, dining, and shopping

I'd suggest the Thunderbird Lodge but I don't think they run tours on Sundays/Mondays.

Thanks janisj and others...We made the best of the weather. Not an entire wash out two days. Mostly spent time driving around the lake.

Shout out for our hotel. I saw it expired on Travelzoo and emailed the hotel and they honored the Travelzoo price of $159 for two nights. Nice hotel. Excellent location and service. Nice coffee pub.
