A group of 50 yr old Chgo ladies heading to the Int'l Folk Art Fest in July '14.
This B & B was recommended...what do you think?
Please rec. any others, too.
WOuld like a hotel/B&B....3-4 stars out of 5, walkable to center of things.

Mr. Pickle and I have stayed there twice, the last time in 2011. We went in January, when they had a special room rate.

Both rooms we've had were comfortable. The bathrooms were tiny, though. I don't know if they have bigger ones in rooms which are designed to hold more than two people or not, though. You might want to ask.

The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. They serve a continental breakfast with breads, pastries, hard-cooked eggs, yogurt, etc., and have chips and salsa with other snacks available in the afternoons.

It's a pretty easy walk to the plaza area from Pueblo Bonito.

What is your budget?

Try Inn of the Governors. Great downtown location with nice perks.

Wonderful place and the owners are so nice. Prices usually are under $170 so you should be fine. Agree w/Elendilpickle, Pueblo Bonito has free parking and its only a 5 minute walk to the Plaza. Very convenient.

I don't know how many women are in your group, but are you planning to share rooms? Pueblo Bonito's regular rooms all have one king or queen bed, and the suites have either an king or queen bed and a queen futon. You might want to ask the others in your group if they are OK sleeping on a futon.
