Public Tennis Courts Oahu or Maui?

Is there any place to play tennis for free in Oahu or Maui?

Thanks.

I have no idea if it's free or not - but there are tennis courts at Ala Moana Beach Park, next to McCoy Pavilion (or that's what I think the name is).

As it's a public park - I would think it's free.

Kapiolani Park on Oahu (just east of Waikiki) has tennis courts that I believe are free, but I have no idea how you reserve them.

There are courts at the ballpark in Hana, at Kalama Park in Kihei, next to the Maui Sunsetin north Kihei, at the community college in Kahului and several in Lahaina at the civic center as well at at one of the parks on Front Street. There are more--these are just the ones I can think of right now. There are also several tennis courts at hotel properties that are open to the public

we were in Kihei last summer for 2 weeks and every morning my hubby would go to Kalama park for pick up games of tennis with locals. Then he'd bring back malasadas from Home Maid bakery!

There are courts in Fort deRussy park in Waikiki, just off the beach, near the restrooms and shower. They sure appeared public & free (but as with other posters here I'm not sure if/how you'd reserve them).
