Providence: Westin, Marriott or Courtyard?? Need quick response.

Of the Westin, Marriott and Marriott Courtyard, which is the best in Providence, Rhode Island?

I have only stayed at the Westin, but I was just there this weekend and found it very nice - especially the amazingly cozy beds. You might also look into the Biltmore, down the street from the Westin, which has recently been renovated and is also lovely, in a more historic and old-fashioned way than the newer hotels in that area.

Westin has the better location. Walk within covered walkway to The Providence Mall. Walk along the river. Great restaurants across the street. The Capital Grill, Raphaels, Cafe Nuovo.

Lillie, how can you honestly ask if a Marriott Courtyard is possibly better than a Westin?!? Just curious. It really should be between the Westin and the full-service Marriott (both are nice) as the best Courtyard is still not in the same class.

Providence has become an extremely attractive and walkable city. For events like Waterfire, the Courtyard is a more convenient location. If you're planning to sit in your room, perhaps the Marriot would be preferable.
