Hotel chains that offer adjoining rooms???

We are a family of four and our kids have gotten too old to tolerate sleeping in sofabeds (can't say I blame them). Sooooo, I am thinking of booking two adjoining hotel rooms in the future rather than staying at suite hotels. Do most hotel chains have adjoining rooms and is this something that can be assumed? I don't see adjoining rooms listed as an option on any of the hotel search feature on their websites. Any suggestion or recommendations are appreciated! Thanks!

I think most chain hotels have adjoining rooms, but you have to call to book them.
It is more comfy when you can close the door on the kids, and they have their own bath.

All hotels have adjoining rooms - I think you mean connecting rooms - so you don;t have to go out into the hall to go from one to another.

Many hotels do this - but you do need to reserve in advance since they may be quite limited. Suggest you need to contact the hotels directly to find out (I have never seen this on a website).

Thanks, cmcfong!

We have stayed at Residence Inn before since they have 2 bedroom suites, one w/a king and the other w/two doubles. However it seems now most of the rooms that had doubles now have a queen plus sofabed.

If anyone knows of a chain that has 2 bedroom suites with three actual beds, please let me know!!
