Priceline - Where do you look to get extra $$$ codes, ex: AMEX.

Hello everyone!!!

Anyone have any leads to where I can find these extra dollars to add to my Priceline bids?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Ross. :-)

Unfortunately, the $20/night AmEx bonus expired at the end of March.

There is a $5/night bonus (expires 5/31) you can get by going to:

http://pub4.ezboard.com/bpricelineandexpediabidding

Look for the topic "Bonus Money Opportunities" (way down the page, under the "Miscellaneous" heading) and there should be a subtopic "$5 Hotel Bonus Money Expires 5/31/01". If you click on the link in that topic, you're directed to Priceline and the $5/night (up to $25/bid, I think) bonus money.

You'll still occasionally see a $20/night AmEx bonus referenced in a post, even though it's now long after the 3/31 deadline for that bonus money. All this means is that the person submitted an initial bid before the 3/31 AmEx bonus deadline, and the initial bid was rejected--but the person can continue rebidding with that initially failed bid and still get the $20/night bonus money included in the bid.

Hope this helps...

If you are a Smarter Living member, they will add $25 to your bid for airline tickets only. www.smarterliving.com to sign up for their internet newsletter.

Smarter Living is a good site & source for economical travel. I get their newsletter & they frequently offer extra $$$ by accessing Priceline thru the Smarter Living connection.

In fact, I'm departing for Boston tomorrow using a ticket that I purchased last Friday (less than a week ago!) --- roundtrip fare on Delta Airlines, D/FW to BOS leaving July 4th & returning on July 8th --- cost $176!

By the way, in case anyone is interested--the $5/night bonus money link is still available. It got extended first to 6/30, and now to 7/31.

To get it, go to http://www.biddingfortravel.com (new, easier to remember name for the same Web site I mentioned in my earlier post) and look for the thread on the "$5 bonus money (expires 7/31/01)," click on the link, and you'll be redirected to Priceline with the $5/night bonus money automatically added to your bid.

Happy 4th of July, everybody!
