Priceline, Hotwire and award points

If I book through either service, do I still earn points in the loyalty programs, such as Marriott, Hyatt or Sheraton?

All I acn tell you is that we booked the Westin Maui through a travel agent and did not get any Starwood points for that trip so now we book our own. We have become experts at booking our own travel. All it takes is time and patience.

With Priceline, no. This statement appears during the bidding process: <BR><BR>"Hotel rooms purchased through priceline are not eligible for frequent traveler points, upgrades, vouchers, or other discounts and incentives."<BR><BR>I always present my hotel card when I check in on a Priceline reservation anyway, because sometimes I think belonging to that hotel chain's club helps me get a better room when it's a slow night. One hotel did give me points for my Priceline reservation, but I didn't ask for the points. (The other 6-8 Priceline hotel stays I've had, the hotel didn't give me points, which is what I expected.)

You also don't get the points if you use the Entertainment Card.

Does anyone know if the same no points deal goes for reservations booked thru Travelocity and AAA?
