Price guidelines for The Banyan Tree Restaurant, Maui, PLEASE

My husband and I have heard good reviews about The Banyan Tree Restaurant at the Ritz Carlton on Maui. I checked out their menu and came to the conclusion that we could drop quite the bundle on dinner. Would it really be worth the splurge or are the prices just indicative of a Ritz Carlton?

Mahalo!!

Unless they've taken a recent nosedive, the restaurant has a 4-Star rating -- indicative of exceptional food & service.

It's worth the splurge for sure. The Banyan Tree is our favorite restaurant in Maui. We ate there 3 times on our last trip! Plus, the service is terrific.

It's worth it! On the last night of a trip to Maui in 4/05, my girlfriend and I had dinner there. It was the perfect way to culminate a great trip. Atmosphere, food and service were all superb. I had an amazing fish called Shutome (Hawaiian swordfish). Sometimes things which cost more are just better: that's the case here.
