There are hundreds of possibilities! What kind of food do you want, how much do you want to spend, and what kind of atmosphere are you looking for?

do a web search for arthur schwartz. also try the words " food maven" he is a new york "foodie" and on his site has a list of great new york rest. w/a few choices in the theatre district.
my choice is B. Smiths, in the forties on 8th ave.
if you like Asian food, there's a lively, fun, restaurant called Ruby Foo's on Broadway right in the middle of all the action. Joe Allen's is a favorite haunt of celebs--it's on 46 St. between 8th and 9th Aves. You can find Arthur Schwartz's website at WOR.com

I would reccomend looking @ zagat.com and do a search by neighborhood.

My two favorites in the area are Orso and Coco Pazzo Teatro.

For a FUN dinner, try the Starlight Dinner on B'way at 47th or 48th St.

Downstairs is "Forbidden Broadway", an "off Broadway" show which is HYSTERICAL. The show is a take off of all the shows on B'way and is so funny, you will fall off your chairs.

Upstairs, it's a "50's ish dinner, with fun (but good) food and all the waiters and waitresses are singers and if your teen isn't shy, the mike is open for a song.

What show are you seeing?

Trust me on the Dinner, your teen will love the place, and if not, there are lots of other choices in the area.

tweedy
