Pre cruise hotel LA
 

I'm looking for recommendations for a pre cruise hotel for Dec 05, ship will be departing from San Pedro. Thanks.. Jake

The Sheraton Hotel in San Pedro is across from the docks. Many people stay there for that reason. It's fine for pre cruise for a nigth, but wouldn't base a week there if you were doing a lot of sight seeing in LA.

The Sheraton will no longer be a Sheraton after June 30 so take that into consideration. If you are flying into LAX and cruising the next day I would suggest staying at an a/p hotel and taking a taxi down to the pier in the a.m. There is nothing much to see in San Pedro, it's rather an industrial port and the immediate area not exactly "tourist-y" (not that LAX is either, but if you are just overniting it might be wiser choise). I believe there is a Holiday Inn Express near San Pedro pier so you could check that out.
