I'll stop while I am one step ahead. |
I thought we exhausted the leg puns when the first leg of this post appeared, but maybe we can come up with more.
I've had lost luggage many times, but never lost leggage. |
Is she now getting half-price pedicure? Does she work in a brewery being in charge of the hops? Is she lack-toes intolerant?
Will she wear a flamingo costume on Halloween? |

This is so old, two of the three airlines mentioned don't even exist anymore. But I guess America West and U.S.Air were never on good footing.

Travel Troubles: The Importance of Keeping Essential Items Close
The topic "PRAY FOR THE LEG !!!" seems to revolve around a concern about losing an artificial leg while traveling. One commenter empathizes by sharing their own travel mishap with lost luggage, though they highlight the ability to walk as a key difference. Another commenter questions the wisdom of checking an artificial leg in luggage, suggesting it would be safer to keep such an important item in a carry-on. Just as one wouldn't check a beloved cat in the luggage, this underscores the importance of keeping essential items with you during travel to avoid potential complications.

I have flown since my last post to this thread and guess what? My luggage was lost. AGAIN. This is the 12th time it's happened. I learned a long time ago never to put body parts into checked luggage. It's just not good to hop around while on vacation.
I hope this serves as a valuable lesson to all travelers. |
P_M, Yikes! That must be some kind of record. Any idea why so many times? Other than gross incompetence?

That is a horrible record, PM, and serious PIAs. You sound like a perfect candidate for the best Luggage Tracer. Good luck in future travels.

In case anyone is interested, I've posted a thread about this in the Air Travel forum, as there's more to this story. Having lost luggage is even worse than it used to be. |
