Posting problems with AOL
 

After all the advice I've given about cleaning your cookies and you won't have trouble posting, I could not post this afternoon thru AOL. I just tried Internet Explorer and got thru! Guess it's AOL after all.

Well, maybe not, cd. This afternoon I had a number of problems here. Mainly I could get the list of topics on the left, but nothing would open up. This happened on and off a number of times, but everything seems fine now. That was a whole new problem for me here.
And I'm not on AOL.

cd: This has been my experience for many years with AOL (starting with 4.0, now on 9.0). Sometimes I can post, sometimes not. But, I can nearly always post the first time with IE. Beats the heck out of copying your text before trying to post each time in case it gets "lost".

Interestingly, I took your advice and deleted my cookies at work and posting via AOL worked fine for a while. But, when I got home, I could also post via AOL on my home PC without having cleaned out the cookies. But, subsequently, I could not.

I am not convinced that this is an AOL problem, but it very well could be.

I haven't been able to post on AOL for a while. I'm on IE now, happily. I bid 2 Vacation auctions and did so on IE for fear that AOL would time out. It's happened before!
