Could anyone recommend a place where two ladies (seniors, but only in age) would feel comfortable going for a drink after the theatre, with or without entertainment. Probably would like someplace with a skyline view, but that's optional.

/sorry, I'm so immersed in my new york research that I forgot there are other cities.

Many people enjoy the View at the Marriott Marquis in Times Square.

The View is fine for drinks - but I definitely wouldn't eat there. And it's very handy to the theaters. Not sure of anyplace in the area that has a view plus entertainment - it's mostly one or the other.

I think the views over Times Square from the Broadway Bar at the Marriott are preferable to "The View", where much is blocked by other buildings.
