Thank you Suze -- that's quite a wonderful list.

I'll report on Herbfarm if I go there, Kim. Thanks

Cheers everyone

You're very welcome. As it happens your B&B is just around the corner from my house. Small world, no?

Yes, Suze it is.

I really believe in the Six Degrees of Separation theory.

Maybe you or another Fodorite can give me some advice re some locations in town. I've made some car rental reservations and the best rate was from a Thrifty downtown location which is at 101 Alaskan Way South. Since we are now planning to take a shuttle from Vancouver to Seattle (the car rental to go across the border and drop off the car in Seattle is quite expensive) I wonder how close or how far that location is from the Amtrak station in Seattle ( 303 South Jackson) or from the Greyhound Terminal ( 811 Stuart Street ) or the Best Western Executive Inn Hotel (200 Taylor Avenue North) where the QuickShuttle Service drops off passengers.

I'm not sure yet which service we will use -- it depends on the departure time and the fact that some downtown car rental locations close before some of these shuttles arrive.

Thanks as always

The train station at 3rd & Jackson is by far the closest to 101 Alaskan Way South.
