Curious

A rainy day in Portsmouth, what to do? I found the Albacore Museum (doesn't look like it would take too long to see), Strawberry Banke Museum and The Seacoast Science Center. It looks like you have to walk outside quite a bit on the latter two. Would any of these places be ok in the rain? Any other suggestions??

Well, not too much! If you have kids, there is a Children's Museum and the arcade at Hampton Beach. How about a one hour drive to Salem,MA to visit the House of Seven Gables and/or the Peabody Essex Museum?

Strawberry Banke is an intresting place, but I cannot imagine visiting when it is raining. The visit would require walking in and out of all the small buildings through the rain. I am not a fan of trying to enjoy and learn anything when my clothes are wet!
