Portland Oregon winery tours

We have a group of 4 going to Portland Oregon the first week in August. We would love to tour the wine area without driving. Has any one used a tour company that they would recommend? and any other suggestions for touring the wine area.

There are tours but I don't know the names..you might try googling.
There are a couple of residents who live quite close to the wine area, they will probably see this and post soon.

I be one of those, Scarlett.

Never used them myself, tweety, but know Grape Escapes has a good reputaation. Please report back if you end up using them or any other outfit. I'm particularly curious to know if they steer you to wineries of their choosing.

I agree with the suggestion of Grape Escape.

I speak from experience....I am in the wine business and as a side line, I own a wine tour company (we only do large tours such as conventions). Anyway, Grape Escape was founded the same year I founded my company, 1994. They have a great reputaion and if you can book a date with the owner, Ralph Stinton, do! He's fabulous!

I am giving Grape Escapes a call and I will report back later.

Thanks
