Portland OR GTG early September
 

Mr Again and I are visitng September 7 Sunday - September 10 Wednesday. I got an allowance for a GTG :)) Anybody want to meet up?

I can't commit to anything specific yet, but I will try:) Our anniversary is during this time so we don't know yet if we will be away or not. You got Mr. Again to come along this time? Great!!!

Hmmmm..... Sept 7 is our anniversary, and the 9th is my wife's b-day. I could say we planned the GTG as a surprise party!! How do you think that'd go over? ;-)

Regardless, I'm game!

We'll be staying at Hotel Fifty 50 SW Morrison St @ SW 1st Ave, so please something close to this location, or on the MAX line.

Maybe Sunday September 7 Huber's? Withing walking distance, right? 411 SW 3rd Ave @ SW Stark.

Or Tuesday September 9 Bleu, too bad they aren't open on Sunday! 600 SW 10th Ave @ SW Alder - 3 stops on MAX?

Well, the MAX line intersects the Streetcar line, so that opens up a whole new set of possibilities! Dinner is best, but lunch on the 7th might work. Tough to know whether to schedule it on wife's birthday or our anniversary though. Hmmmm......

And what are you thinking in terms of budget, Faina? Not that I don't like Huber's or Bleu, but I think we can do bettah! ;-)

First of all, I am VERY opened to suggestions, I know I'm not good with picking out places :)

Lunch on the 7th won't work for us - we're flying in late, scheduled to land at 2 pm.

Hmmm... maybe lunch close to somebody's work on Mon or Tue? I still have time to plan around it.

As for budget... we usually splurge at least once per vacation. But we are not against savings, not at all!

As for food type, Mr Again hates sandwiches :) I tried to convince him, he can open it, and leave bread uneaten, didn't work!

Might I join you? I live in Portland...and have heard much about mms from a Mutual Friend.

It's even worse for me! I'll be in Portland for a wedding on Sept 6, but have to get back to Seattle for a meeting on Sunday night. Whah!

I can't make it either even though I'm in Seattle. I'll be in Kenya, back Sept 11.
