we have only driven the coastal route but to my memory 3 hours or less. The previous post for mapquest is the best way to find out.

Take the coastal route and plan for a days drive. It will take you through numerous small towns that are worth the drive.<BR><BR>RM

Did the drive 2 years ago and with no stops going by Route 1, expect about 31/2 hours if traffic is busy. Stop for lunch along the way, though, plenty of nice seafood places.

Look at possibly stopping in Camden on the ay up if you plan on doing it in a day.<BR>There are some great places for lunch on the water side. Cappy's in one..I can't remember the name of the other but it is on the way out of town on the right as you head up the coast.
