No.
The closest downtown hotel to the Saturday Mkt is the Benson...expensive..then the Lucia, the Vintage Plaza and the Monaco.
In the Pearl but not walking distance is the Inn at Northrup Station, but that is on the streetcar line.
The Saturday Mkt is right by the river and on the NW side of town. There are no inexpensive hotels nearby- the best one I can think of might be the Ace Hotel on Stark and the Mark Spencer .. they are closest to Burnside and not a too bad walk to 2nd where the Mkt is.
Hope this helps..www.pova.com might help you .
A map will too...

The closest hotel is actually the Downtown Embassy Suites. But I think it, or any other downtown hotel will be out of that price range.
A less-expensive (and lower quality) option would be to go over to the convention center area, where there are lower cost hotels just a (free) MAX ride over the bridge to Saturday Market.

(Hi Scarlett!)
Portland is such a compact city that it's easy to walk to Saturday Market from many of the downtown hotels. As EnricoIV says, it's also easy, free ride to take the MAX over the river from the east side by the Convention Center. That would get you closest to the $100 price range.
Another way to get into your price range is to use Priceline, where you don't know your hotel until after you offer a price, it is accepted, and your credit card is charged. If you bid for a 4-star hotel you will most likely get the Monaco, the Vintage Plaza, or the Benson, all only a few blocks away, and likely had (minus about $20/night for parking) for as low as $60/night off season, more like $80 to $90 in season. Your least lucky choice would be the Riverplace Hotel - not a bad hotel just not that close to the Saturday Market.
Bid for a 3-star hotel downtown on Priceline and you might get lucky and get the Hilton but more likely you will be on the east side of the river, near the free MAX. But, you could probably get a 3-star hotel under $60 a night, even under $50 off season, and it might be a pretty nice place. Check out BetterBidding.com for details.
