Portland hotel
I'm coming to Portland in July and am looking for a decent place to stay for around $125 a night. I am driving, so I don't want to pay for valet parking for three days---I'd rather stay a little farther out (NE maybe?) and take public transportation. I used to live in Portland so I know my way around pretty well once I'm there, I just need some recommendations on hotels. I'd like one with a bar and/or a restaurant.
Thanks

NE? No. Get on hotwire and stay somewhere downtown. My favorites are 5th ave suites and The Westin, but if those are too high, pick any three star downtown and you'll have easy access to the Max lightrail and bus system

Go to www.travelportland.com and you will find great deal in Portland that include parking and breakfast. Why take a bus when you can have a convenient location in your price range?

I also suggest the Portland Oregon Visitors Assoc ( POVA)
I use them a lot - and as posted above -
can usually find rates that include parking and breakfast .
Think Kennady School is a good choice too- wont be offered through POVA
