Port Orleans Hotel Disneyworld- trundle bed - big enough for 9 year old?

Has anyone actually had a fairly big nine year old use the trundle bed at the Port Orleans ever? I hear it is really small but rather not measure just yet?
Thanks
Ken

Most trundle beds are like daybeds and should be large enough. To be on the safe side, I would call Port Orleans and ask.To me, that's the only way to be sure.

Thanks JD, I already called the hotel. I am glad to hear from someone who experienced it.
Thanks

The trundle bed in Port Orleans Riverside is a plywood board on casters with a slab of foam on it that slides under the bed closest to the door in the Aligator Bayou Section of the resort. Per Disney (I just reconfirmed with them) the child sleeping on the trundle bed must be 9 years old or less, weigh 40 pounds or less, and be 4 foot 10 inches tall or less. No exceptions. I don't know how jd was able to have his 12 year old sleep on it, but according to Disney, that's a big No-No.

Is it impossible that it would be comfortable for a child that weighs 60 pounds or is the problem that it is not allowed?
Thanks
Ken
