Port Huron for the weekend
 

I just booked a room at the Thomas Edison Inn. I've read mixed reviews about the place. Has anyone stayed there? Also, looking for a nice place for dinner Saturday night. Romantic, on the expensive side is ok. Thanks!

I have not stayed at the Thomas Edison Inn, but we have eaten there. The hotel dining room is probably the nicest restaurant in the area. We have been there for Sunday brunch. I would think dinner on Saturday night would be lovely.

Tdmort, I've booked a room at the Thomas Edison Inn for early August. Was it worth it? was it good? should I cancel and rebook somewere else??

Sorry, I didn't realize you'd posted a message. The rooms were just ok but the view was awesome. I think it's one of the top places in Port Huron, but the rooms do need to be updated. You're mostly paying for the view.
