Hello.
Need input.
Who has the best ,biggest,most cofortable
pool in Las Vegas.
Not interested in gambling but,
a great pool is bliss.
THAT WILL DECIDE WHERE WE STAY.
Hard to find this info on the web.
Please share your experience.

Are you looking for a pool with slides, wave pool, etc. for the kids? Or are you looking for a more adult pool with a swim-up bar/blackjack, topless bathing area, or good "people watching?"

There are LOTS of different types of pools in Vegas!

Oh, www.cheapovegas.com has funny reviews of hotels and their pools. :-)

The Mirage is my first choice for comfort,beauty,size and activities. Caesars would be my number two choice for luxury.

I am a little concerned about "a great pool is bliss" - many of the pools in LV tend to get very crowded, even if they are big.

We stayed at MGM grand a couple of weeks ago, and their pool area is lovely. Five different pools, whirlpools and a lazy river throughout. Plus, while we didn't see it, I heard from someone that there is an adults only (topless) section as well. Here's a website for it:

YOu can try to reserve a poolside cabana for $150.00 per day (during the week --more on weekends). Its a nice shaded area with ceiling fan, chairs, table, TV, fridge, bottled water, a fruit or snack basket and your own cabana boy (server). You call a week before you want it and they put your name on a list. After you check in, you call the pool and leave your room number and then they call you the morning you want it and tell you if you got it or not. I think they also use those as comps for the high rollers. We had reserved one, but since it was going to be 110 degrees that day, we decided we couldn't take the heat, cabana or no cabana!

Mandalay Bay's pool area looked terrific as well! Good luck and enjoy!

Whilst I enjoyed my stay at Treasure Island, its pool area is no good at all, afr too tiny for the size of hotel - avoid!

Caesar's Palace, fountains, waterfalls, HUGE! 4.5 acres. Called " Garden of the Gods Pool Oasis". Check out their website, and also featured as the top one on the Travel Channel. My only drawback to the pools in Vegas is that they close so early! It is so warm there, would rather be at the pool in evening than gambling.

Regarding my previous post, I just noticed that the pool hours listed on one website I recommended -- www.i4vegas.com -- do not agree with the hours specified when looking up individual resorts. If being able to swim late in the evening is important, you might want to call the hotel directly and ask. It looks like most pools close by 8 p.m. -- some even earlier.

By the way, if you wanted to tell us what age group you fall into, it might help with the recommendations.

No kids.
no slides needed.
elbow room is important.
will use it in mornings and noon.

I'd say Caesar's. Few kids, no slides, and LOTS of room. It does get pretty crowded at peak times, though.
