Pomodoro Rosso--Is there a wait to get a table?

I heard that Pomodoro Rosso ,70th & Columbus, is good for Italian food, but they don't take reservations. Would there be a wait for a table for two on a Friday night around 5:30-6PM? If we go there around that time & there's a wait, my husband will not be happy at all!

Well that happens to be our favorite restaurant in that area of town. The food is terrific and the bread is what legends are made of, lol. I am still trying to re-create that bread at home, and can only come close.

The 5:30 time frame should be fine for dinner there, don't think you find a wait.

Have a great time and let us know what you thought of the restaurant.

Agreed. There is always a wait for dinner. But if you're willing to eat at 5:30 you should have no trouble walking right in.

What can we expect to pay for a dinner for 2 people with one drink each?

I would guess around $60 plus tip would be a good ball park.

Oh and the bread,,,,,oh I already mentioned that, lol,,,,you'll see what I mean.

Have a great time.
